Starbeam II Series Powerful lighting and distinctive styling come together in the new Starbeam II Series from LSI Lighting Systems.  Redesigned to offer higher performance in a more compact housing, the Starbeam II Series features a sleek, sophisticated look combined with a multitude of energy and maintenance-saving improvements.  An outdoor lighting solution that is as efficient as it is attractive, the Starbeam II Series is the ideal choice for automotive dealerships, shopping malls, restaurants, street lighting, community development and general area lighting.  HOUSING - The one-piece aluminum housing is designed to ensure weather-tight construction plus a sharp, clean appearance.  The top-access cover allows ease of installation and maintenance. LENS\GASKET - The flat, tempered glass lens is sealed to the housing with an EPDM gasket, preventing entry of moisture and insects.  Clear, dropped, decorative trim is also available. TOP FASTENERS - Four captive, stainless steel top fasteners secure the top-access cover to the housing. REFLECTORS - The Starbeam II is available with a Perimeter Forward Throw (FP) or Automotive Forward Throw (FA) reflector. SOCKETS - Porcelain, mogul-base sockets feature spring-reinforced contacts for  long life. LIGHT SOURCES - The Starbeam II is designed to operate with either a 1000 Watt Metal Halide Reduced Envelope; 400 Watt Super metal Halide; 750 Watt Pulse-Start Metal Halide; 400 or 250 Watt Metal Halide Lamp. BALLAST - High-power factor type ballast is designed for -20°F operation.  Ballast is mounted to the housing reinforcing plate. BRACKETS - A 2 1/2" x 6" x 12" aluminum bolt-on bracket is shipped standard.  (Optional 8" bracket available for single and D/80° configurations.)
