To meet CARB requirements, systems must closely match the volume of vapors returned to the volume of gasoline dispensed. Ninety five percent recovery of vapors is the current CARB requirements.  Some systems use complex electronics, variable speed vane pumps, sensors and solenoid valves inside the dispenser cabinet. These are expensive, costly to maintain, and fit only certain models.

As of January 2000 the only stage two system to pass any part of the CARB ORVR requirements.

Only Healy systems places the system brains inside each nozzle. Smart nozzles. THIS MAKES SENSE. No other manufacture's system performs the vapor regulation in the nozzle. Their nozzles are... well, kind of ____.
