The SFA-030 & 050 are designed to extinguish a fire inside a fuel dispenser sump quickly and completely by providing both primary and secondary fire suppression.  The Sump Flame Arrestor automatically discharges the Duel Agent nitrogen gas and AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) when the thermally activated sensor reaches 155°F, putting the fire out in seconds.  The AFFF agent produces a residual foam film barrier which blankets the fuel source against re-ignition for up to 30 minutes!  The Sump Flame Arrestor can be installed in minutes in new installations as well as retrofitting existing sites and provides maximum protection against liability and loss at minimal expense!
